B.C. at the 2008 Saskatoon Blues Festival

July 11th - I will be at the "Credit Union Center" in Saskatoon to see the legendary "James Taylor & Band". This guy is in the top five for singer/songwriters, in my book and I wouldn't miss this show for anything. See you there?

July 18th & 19th - The B.C. Read Blues Band, The Lakeview Hotel, Waskasue, Prince Albert National Park, SK. Well we are going to the lake. Whiskey Sloe will never be the same. After 6 years the Blues is returning to the Lakeview. Stop by and say HI.

July 20th - Private Function (Wedding)- Waskasue, Prince Albert National Park, SK.

August 8th - The Saskatoon Fringe Festival, 11th St Stage, Saskatoon, SK. 8pm start. The B.C. Read Big Blues band (7 piece) will be doing the Friday night spot for the 2008 Fringe Festival. Stop by and say hello, it's free.

August 22nd - The Boxer Benefit, "The B.C. Read Big Blues Band" will be opening for Canadian Rock Legend "Randy Bachman" in the Bess Gardens. This is a fundraiser for the St. Paul's Hospital, Prostate cancer clinic. Contact the Hospital or Rock 102 for more information. - Saskatoon, SK.

August 24th - The Top Of The Inn, Private Corporate Function, Saskatoon, SK. The B.C. Read Trio will be presenting our Roots & Blues show for this major Canadian Corporation. If you are interested in having B.C. at your next function, please contact use at the email address below.

Sept 5th & 6th - The Dakota Dunes Casino, White Cap, SK. George & I will be bringing our duo show back to the Dunes Lounge for another great weekend of Roots/Blues. Stop by and try your luck.

September 27th - "The Read Brothers Band" Moonlake Windup Party, Moonlake, SK. Members and guests only. Call the club for details.

October 10th & 11th - McNallys Tavern, Regina, SK. We always have a ball when we play this venue. 10:00pmish start.

Dec 17th, 18th & 19th - The Dakota Dunes Casino, White Cap, SK. (tentative)

Dec 31st - Private Function (Party) - The Saskatoon Club, Saskatoon, SK.
